Where does live music fit into your wedding?

Down the Aisle

Walking down the aisle is without doubt one of the most memorable moments of any wedding. Why not capture this beautiful snapshot in time by accompanying it with a live performance from one of our fantastic artists playing your favourite song as you do indeed walk ‘down the aisle’? This could be a pianist, a harpist, possibly even an acoustic guitarist. All of these artists could learn your special song, if it’s not already in their repertoire, helping to enhance this most memorable of moments for all to enjoy. (Not a dry eye in the house!)

The Bit in the middle

So, you know that bit a wedding when the ceremony’s finished and before the DJ starts at around 7, well, this gap is normally filled by a wedding breakfast. Why not accompany this period in the day’s proceedings with some live entertainment? This can help generate a great atmosphere to lead up to the DJ. One of our sensational artists can play some of your favourite songs, stir nostalgia and can become somewhat of a talking point for your guests. Possibly a pianist, or an acoustic artist (think Radio One Live Lounge) or maybe something a little more eloquent, such as a violinist. These are of course just a few options for you and all timings can be tweaked, but worth considering….Mind The Gap!

The All-Day Entertainment Bundle

Where to start…how about 1 o’clock in the afternoon as guests arrive. Have a pianist playing some of your favourite tracks that mean the most to you, the happy couple. Maybe some songs from that holiday album that you didn’t stop playing? Or maybe a few tracks from that album that’s rattling around in the glove box that means so much to you?

Then, how do you feel about a cellist or a violinist playing as you walk down the aisle at that most magical of moments.

Moving on to an acoustic guitarist playing throughout the wedding breakfast, with maybe the first set being a laid-back affair, so you have a beautiful soundtrack wafting over the wedding breakfast? Then, a second set of music with possibly a more upbeat feel, getting feet tapping and heads nodding. Getting people in the mood before the DJ starts, should you decide to book one.

We will of course, once we get a music remit from you, we’ll put you in direct contact with the DJ, so that they can build up that all-important rapport and trust with you, giving you peace of mind that you have the best-fit DJ.

Not quite finished! How about a saxophonist playing over the DJ tracks and some well-known dance songs, bringing that bit of quirkiness to the evening.

All of the above can be inter-changeable. You can pick and choose the artists and timings as you see fit, and, better still, if you book three or more artists with us, you receive a 15% discount on the total fee.

Something a little extra

Why not, entertain your guests with some close up magic, with one of our fantastic magicians here at Tie the Knot Music. A great accompaniment to the afternoon’s proceedings.

Or how about a singing waiter/waiter, these guys put a show on for you with song and dance, and it will come as complete surprise to your guests as they burst into song after just serving the veg!

360 video booth, think of it as a TikTok video for your special day to relive and share time and time again. Let your guests take home a video of themselves on your special day, the videos are sent straight to their phones on the day. Then the happy couple will receive a montage of the video clips, put together in a showreel format so you can relive those special (although quite silly) memories.

Our musicians don't just play, they perform

They entertain, they interact with everybody there. Whether it’s roaming bands performing to every corner of your venue, or vocalists and horns joining you on the dance floor, your guests won’t be able to resist joining in the party.

We'll take care of all the technical details and niggly bits.

We will do all that for you, including timings, equipment, setup, microphones, and organising the day’s events. Keeping you posted so you are in the picture at all times. Generating a timeline fo the days events… who, what, where, when.

We even speak direct with he venue for you, making sure they are on the same page with all that’s going on, so you don’t have to!
